1972 Plymouth Satellite Resto-Mod

Powertrain

Vehicle started out as a little old ladies 318 and sat most of its later life before being modified.

Was upgraded to a 360 Magnum crate motor.  But even that was not enough, as the engine was completely gone through and balanced.  A larger loping cam was added along with Edelbrock aluminum heads and roller rockers.  Topped it off with a single plane intake, throttle body FiTech EFI unit, and RC2 filter (with clear lid).

MSD ignition gets this party lit.

Power goes through a 727 Torque-Flite 3 speed auto from Hughes Performance with about a 2500 stall and then to a Corporate 8.75 rear axle (Hotchkiss) with 3.55 gears.

March accessory drive system driven by a serpintine belt.

Keeping it all cool is an aluminum radiator with 4 electric fans from Wizard Cooling and an auxiliary cooler for the trans.

TTI headers collect into Magnaflow mufflers and dump before the axle.

Suspension / Brakes / Wheels

Hemi rear leaf springs were added with the 8.75 rear axle and some custom sway bars from Firm Feel Inc.

Still has the torsion bars up front.

All four corners have disc brake conversion from SSBC along with their master cylinder and power booster. Because of the low vacuum from the engine there is an auxiliary vacuum pump.

Centerline Wheels

Interior

The front bench seat was replaced with 2 buckets and a custom rear seat cover to match - all from ProCar.

Custom gauge pod from Classic Dash with AutoMeter gauges and a GPS driven speedo.

A hidden stereo system that runs off any phone or MP3 player.

Exterior

This is the original color (Plymouth - TorRed / Dodge Hemi Orange) but it has been repainted once.  Original interior panels, vinyl top, and glass.  Car only had 30K miles prior to modification .
